Misc.

Got out and visited with the neighbors for a few minutes tonight. Reilly isn?t very social yet, but he does interact a bit with other kids. And they sure seem to like him.

My neighbor is going to have a baby (her 4th - # 3 isn?t 2 yet). They only had one when they moved here. And our old neighbor who moved elsewhere in the country is having her 4th too. They were here for #?s 2 and 3.

At some point, perhaps we?ll have #2. We?d sure like that.

I?m thinking of doing some audio blogging, with a newsy sort of a twist. I would like to do a format somewhat like NPR?s All Things Considered but not quite so ambitious - a small time version. Maybe one or two stories a month to start out.

I haven?t spent much time looking for ideas just yet. Can any of you help me out in that regard? I?m not interested in talking about top news or anything like that. I?m thinking somewhat offbeat but nonetheless interesting. Or maybe some top news, but from some different perspective.

I have often thought it would be nice for some coverage of stories that are actually positive, that portray humans being nice to each other etc. Not much of that on the evening news.

Wow--Jeff. Two days in a row. I really like Kirk's idea too. Your take on the world is very interesting to listen to. I love your sense of humor and the way that you write and talk about things. This could be a lot of fun.
